GREYS POPPER SPINNING ROD
While Greys worked on these Popper™ rods to do very specific jobs, almost by mistake Greys have found that in fact they have a far wider range of fishing applications than Greys thought possible!

They were designed and rigorously tested for fishing with big, powerful fixed-spool reels, strong modern lines and monster poppers and lures. Greys had in mind hard fighting fish like Giant Trevally, Cubera snapper and various other tropical thunderbolts.

Over time Greys are now finding that the Popper™ rods are just about perfect for massive European catfish amongst other things. Greys have heard of 200lb specimens successfully banked down on the River Ebro. Two tips are provided to offer ultimate flexibility. One is for heavy use, the other for lighter applications. These rods are built to be virtually indestructible, with massive reserves of power. This rod allows you to give it back to the fish, as hard as they give it you!

Greys worked on this rod to suit all kinds of shore lure fishing. From jigging small spinners right beneath your feet, through to fishing soft plastics hard to the bottom at range, this rod can do it all with ease. The secret to landing hard-fighting fish is to gain an upper hand as fast as you can and the Sea Spin has stacks of power, carefully blended with a responsive tip.

A fast-taper and lightweight blank allows efficient, accurate casting in all situations. Greys even made the rod in three sections for ease of transportation, both over the rocks and in the sky. For when the going gets tough in rough weather, big lure fishing for hard-scrapping fish from bass to barracuda, this rod takes it all in its stride.
