nine models were designed in conjunction with Alan Scotthorne and Steve
Ringer who were given the tough job of designing a complete range of feeder
rods that were powerful but could also bend right through the blank under
pressure. This has been achieved and the result is a range of rods that
equips anglers with casting power and versatility as well as sensitivity and
finesse for detecting bites and playing fish.
All rods in the Antares AX range are constructed from the
highest quality XT100 and Tcurve carbon that when combined with Shimano’s
engineering excellence, has resulted in a series of blanks that provide
sensitivity, power and durability. High quality Fuji Alconite guides are
generously fitted as standard to help produce a series of rods that are
unequalled in both performance and looks. All rods in the Antares range are
supplied with three interchangeable Shimano Super Tips that have been
individually selected to enhance the performance of each rod.
