 The
revolutionary ‘SR-system’ has now filtered down from the flagship Stella to
the new Shimano Twinpower FB range. Like the Stella, the reels incorporate a
special one-piece bail that prevents even braided lines from getting caught
on the bail. Excellent line lay comes courtesy of Aero Wrap and 2-Speed
Oscillation. Line lay is pre-set as a flat parallel style, though this can
also be adjusted to conical or reverse-conical by using the Adjustable Line
Lay system. A hybrid-aluminium body ensures maximum strength where required
and completes the specification of this top performer.
