The new all-singing all. all-casting super breed Big Pit has arrived, and what a piece of kit, from the highly acclaimed Japanese tournament portfolio it incorporates a tempered cold forged Duraluminium 10000 sized spool. Most striking is the long bio mechanical machined handle to which is attached a cold forged direct drive main gear for massive cranking power, a feature only found on the high end priced Stella and Twin power reels. A super sleek compact body, also made using lightweight aircraft specification Duraluminium cuts down both weight and space. Packed to the gunnels with six ball bearings and a quality roller bearing that gives the equivalent of over ten ball bearings in performance!

S-SYSTEM!

A brand new feature for the Technium XT is the awesome S-System, this system improves line pay off - Super Slow Oscillation, this winds mainline on almost side by side in the slowest helical wrap ever produced on a reel. The line lay has to be seen to be believed, this improved line lay drastically reduces the line drag from the beginning to the end of a cast. The result is a major increase in yardage with reduced effort.

Stress Free System Shimano Aero Technium 12000 Reel Baitrunner Spool Once loaded to the max, the mainline sits so smoothly on the tapered spool that it looks like a solid even mass, completely unobtrusive - like a coiled spring. As it leaves the spool coil by coil there is the lowest co-efficient of friction commercially available on a fixed spool reel. This unique feature also ensures that the waterproof front drag works much more efficiently when playing really big fish on lighter lines at extreme range. At this kind of range most reels struggle but that's where the fish seek sanctuary, normally the bigger wiser ones, on hard fished waters, and only anglers capable of getting through the threshold into un-chartered territory will succeed.
