pricing policy. We watch other retailers closely and maintain competitive
pricing. The internet being the beast it is means that any Tom, Dick’s or
Tony’s can set up a website in their back room and charge bargain basement
prices. Often they will have no stock on hand, no returns policy,
questionable security, no guarantees and of course poor customer service.
Carp Unlimited strives to be open and honest, so we will never inflate
our prices to set up an artificial 'sale' (a common - and illegal - retail
practice).
It is inevitable in an open market like the internet
that there will be some individuals selling some items cheaper than we do,
and some selling them for more than we do, just as in the high street. We
take great pride in offering a fast, efficient, friendly and secure shopping
experience, with great products at fair prices. We encourage our customers
to shop around, but are very pleased to welcome them back again and again.
VAT - Please note that as we're based in the UK, our
site shows all prices inclusive of VAT. Registered website customers from
countries where VAT is not applicable will not be charged VAT at the time of
their order unless the order is being sent to a UK or EU address.
Our returns policy is simple!

means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, i.e. the
item you have ordered is faulty, defective or you've had a change of heart
(which is fair enough) you must return it to us unused and in its original
condition within 7 days for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund.
How to
use the Site
Making A Purchase
To make a purchase just browse around our site, and click on any items that
you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have
finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few
details that we need to be able to process your order.
We accept online card payment by Switch, Maestro, Solo,
MasterCard and Visa. All transactions are 100% safe due to
our inbuilt 128-bit encryption, provided by Thawte and our server is
available 24hrs a day.
We will
not charge for any item until the day of despatch.
Shipping And Handling
At Carp Unlimited we aim to send your goods on the
day of order for next day delivery. Should this not be possible we will
endeavour to contact you as soon as possible.
Packaging and Delivery within mainland UK will normally be within 2 to 7
working days (maximum of 28 days) from receipt of order. Where delivery
cannot be made within the target time, you will be contacted and made aware
of any delays. Any orders outside the Mainland UK, we will contact you with
a shipping price before any transactions are made.
The Free Delivery Offer
Any offers of free delivery are for Mainland UK only, if ordering from
outside the UK Mainland we will email you the cost of postage, note we do
not despatch your goods or charge any monies until agreement has been
received from you regarding the postage costs, so complete confidence when
purchasing is assured!!!

If you decide that you do not require the product when delivered, you may
return it to us for a refund, no reason has to be given, but you must have a
returns number. The only conditions for return of goods for this service are
as follows:
All returns must be received by 7 working days from the
date of delivery.
All refunds will be made before 30 days of receiving the return goods, this
will include all P&P monies taken at the time of ordering your goods.

card used (never give out the full number as emails do not go through our
secure server).
Failure to return the goods using the above conditions
could result in the failure to receive a full refund or partial refund, our

Full Return Policy Details
How do I return an item? Simply call us on 01621 851929, and one
of our customer support team will issue you with a Returns
Authorisation Code that will enable us to process your return quickly
and efficiently. You must obtain a Returns Authorisation Code before
sending anything back to us or we will not be able to process your
return. To give you a few pointers on how we manage our returns, here
are some simple and easy to follow guidelines:
Faulty or defective items: If
you return an item because of an error on our part, or it is
defective, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us or
arrange collection. You are responsible for any other service provided
to you in connection with your purchase, e.g. Saturday delivery. The
item(s) must be returned within 7 days of Delivery.
Change of heart: Goods
returned to us because of a change of heart must be unused and in
perfect, re-saleable condition (including product packaging,
instructions, etc), otherwise we will not be able to refund you. You
are responsible for any other service provided to you in connection
with your purchase, e.g. upgraded delivery charge. The item(s) must be
returned within 7 days of Delivery. When first trying out your new
product, please do so somewhere clean and safe - we can't replace
muddy, scratched, torn or grass-stained stuff.
Perishable goods: We are
unable to accept returns of perishable goods. Bait being the prime
example.
Returning a gift: We are happy to
exchange faulty or defective products that have been sent as a gift.
If you are returning an item but would like to exchange it for
something else and you're not sure what, we are happy to issue a gift
voucher for the value of the item you are returning. If a refund is
required however, please note that refunds of the purchase price for
items bought as gifts can only be given to the original purchaser.
Items lost in transit: We
cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit whilst being
returned to us: as you are responsible for returning the item(s) to
us, we recommend sending the package by Recorded/Special Delivery.
Refunds, replacement and exchanges:
Refunds For items that are defective or faulty and sent back
to Carp Unlimited within 7 days or the result of a Change of
Heart and sent back to Carp Unlimited within 7 days, a refund,
replacement or exchange will be processed within 7 working days of
receipt of the returned item(s) by us. A refund will be made in the
same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase.
Please note that item(s) that are returned to us that are not due to
our error will have the return shipping costs deducted from the
refund. As we offer Free delivery based on a sale Carp Unlimited
will deduct a charge of £8.00 as a result of ‘change of heart’ returns
which were sent ‘free delivery’.
Refunds on items with staggered or combo pricing
Carp Unlimited offer certain items eg: higher prices rods &
reels with a single price and 2 or more price. Should you buy 2 or
more of an item, receive a discounted price then opt to return one
your refund will be adjusted. This will result in you paying the
single quantity price for the product kept and the remaining balance
being refunded.
Please note, in all instances Carp Unlimited shall not be
liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including
but not limited to lost profits or other economic or commercial
losses. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

Overseas Orders
We do except orders from outside the UK, but due to
rising trends of credit card fraud and the banks somewhat lack of support in
tackling this problem we reserve the right to request further proof of ID,
cheque payment or bank transfer or to refuse the order altogether.
Orders for delivery outside of Mainland UK will be
subject to additional charges. Call or email to get a confirm quotation.

Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128-bit
encryption, the most secure format on the internet they are only decrypted
after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web
site.
Guarantee &
Your Right To Cancel
Goods offered for sale in the carpunlimited.net website are new as supplied by
the manufacturer and carrying the manufacturer's warranty.
You may cancel any order before it is shipped and
within 7 days of receiving it. However you must pay the shipping costs for
it to be returned to us. Your money will be refunded in no more than 30 days
excluding the postage amount and you must contact us for a returns number
prior to returning you goods.
Privacy
Policy
Carp Unlimited guarantee not to pass on your details to any other
company under any circumstances. We value your custom and will keep your
personal details private. Any information you give when ordering or by
e-mail will only be kept by us offline to help us with the order or enquiry,
the information collected is that given at the time of ordering or e-mail.
We collect the information ourselves and under no circumstances will it be
given to any third parties. We will not contact you unless it is with
regards to an order or if requested to do so. All credit/debit card
information is destroyed after 30 days. We need this time to make sure there
are no problems with transactions or if you exercise your right to return
